Handmade Cards
The other day my girls said, I'm bored. So I went digging into some plastic containers under my bed. Boy, I was surprised by what I had found.

After emptying three storage containers full of supplies. We were able to make some really nice cards. Not to bad, for just getting going. Pretty much learning as we are going.
These cards are invitation size 4-3/8" x 5-3/4". Made with card stock, and scrapbook materials.
The above cards were really simple to do. I'm really enjoying making cards. Check them out at http://stores.shop.ebay.com/used-and-new-storeFriday, June 11, 2010
My Candle Hobby
Several years ago, I was looking for something new to give to my girls teachers. We were getting tired of baking cookies or brownies. So we jumped in the car and headed for our local craft store. That's were I found candle making kits. They had kits for gel candles, soy candles and paraffin wax candles. Each of the kits came with everything you need to get started. Buying kits for any new hobby is best. That way you don't spend to much before you know if you like it or not.
After getting the hang of making votive, I ventured into glass jars and travel tins.
If you are looking for something new to do. Give it a try, you might like making candles too!!
